Britney Taken to a Hospital after a 3 hour Standoff
Britney was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in an ambulance late Thursday after a standoff that lasted for 3 hours and that involved her 2 youngsters, her ex-hubby K-Fed, a court-appointed child monitor, police officers, and paramedics.
Ms. Spears had spent time with her sons earlier that day and was scheduled to return them to Mr. Kevin Federline’s bodyguard at 7 p.m. at her home in the Summit. But when the court appointed monitor put Sean Preston in the car, Britney locked herself up in the bathroom with Jayden James and refused to come out.
The police arrived at 8, while the Paramedics arrived at 10:30, and the troubled popstar was taken from her home before 11:00 while photographers invaded the place, taking pictures of Britney who was smiling one moment and looking distraught the next.
Once in the hospital, fame-seekers and fans gathered outside while Mr. Federline was given Jayden James who was taken there in a second ambulance. Sean Preston was already turned over to k-Fed at Britney’s home.
By Friday afternoon she was taken the right to even visit with her 2 angels by Commissioner Scott Gordon of Los Angeles Superior Court who awarded her ex-husband sole legal and physical custody of their children. A hearing is set for Jan. 14. Ms. Spears’s lawyer, Sorrell Trope, said he ultimately expected her to regain shared custody of the boys.
